Ok, so. If you weren’t there at the time, you might’ve felt like you were missing something this time. Basically, for a good chunk of Christmasses, the news always had stories about various disastrous “Winter Wonderland” events, where people showed up expecting an extremely festive day out, only to find a muddy car park with a dog tied up in a pen to look a bit like a reindeer, an ice rink that didn’t have any ice, just slightly slippy plastic, and some annoyed teenagers dressed as elves stomping about. It happened reliably each year and was extremely funny every time. So that’s what this was.
