Okay so. I haven’t been telling you the context for everything, because a lot of it really is just references to stuff and if I explained it, it wouldn’t be funny. Yulysses was the opening theme to Ulysses 31, for instance, and there’s been a lot of Mass Effect jokes. Spottyman is from Superted.

But those blue people are a bit of a deep cut. You’ve got Mr Bump from the Mr Men, you’ve got PC Boot from the Shoe People, the bird in the clock is Cuckoo from Playschool, and then there’s the blue cat, the titular one from Dougal and the Blue Cat, the Magic Roundabout movie (not the bad CG one, the really good stop motion one from the 70s).

His name in the film is Buxton, and just when I was doing this, Adam Buxton (from Adam and Joe, remember those “Stephen” and Boggins jokes last time) had a guest presenting slot on Buzzcocks that went down a storm, so that’s what’s happening here, I’m having Buxton say things Adam Buxton said on that episode. Sheesh. This is really the sort of nonsense I put in these. Foofsh.
