Jack wants to look at the Yulix i’ve got. Here you go.
“Yep, that’s a Yulix sure enough,” he say. So we can use it to make Snatter be here?? “I’m afraid not. A person can’t be kept alive by one memory alone. Ninjas, have you yet discovered the hypothetical concept of.. the Double-Yulix?”
“Yes!” go ninjers, “we’ve been trying to tell these kids about it, but they just thought we were talking nonsense!”
“A Yulix,” say Jack, “can be connected to another, their strands are constructed in such a way as would allow them to fit together neatly and create a single memory, known as a Double-Yulix, which might just be strong enough to more fully express the memory of a whole being.”

yeh I’ve already put 2 together, nothing happened but it did click together.
“…Then maybe all really is lost. Maybe two aren’t enough.”
everyone looks all sad and downcast.
“yeah but, how many memories would be enough?” go nobbly boy. “we’ve got more than two here.”
“BUT THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE!” go captain jack!
“no, we have, we’ve got a few.”
“I mean it kid, it’s impossible! I’ve been back and forth across time, I know time like the back of my hand (well, it wasn’t mine exactly but I was keeping it safe), and never, in all of history and future history, is there any bending of the rules of time that can create more than two. Even one Yulix is nearly impossible to create, and until I see evidence of it, I’d say two is totally impossible. More than two? Not a chance!”

“For more than one Yulix to be created out of the memory of the same person, all have to be created in a single instant spanning a lifetime, long ago and right now, gradually all at once! You just can’t do it, we’re talking about performing a task now, and at various points in the past, and before you say it, you can’t just do it once, wait a while and do it again. It has to be done, at multiple times, simultaneously. You can’t do that, nobody can do that, even time travelers can’t do it.”
oe. well we seem to have. we’ve got what is it, six twisties now? There was the one about how he goes to everyone’s house, delivering presents, and there was the one about how he can break intergalactic laws like you can’t fly using reindeer and you can’t visit all the houses in one night. And there was the memory about that time he wasn’t allowed to go out until he’d tidied up and hoovered the slé. what else?
“There was the one about him getting all cross when ppl told him he was snoring,” go nobbly and he’s right, “he kept all the elvs awake remember. And there was the one where he put girly stuff on his face to make his skin helthy.”
ye that’s right, and then the one about when he was in that panto and the critics all said he was really good!

Well it isn’t very grammatickly to say six Yulix, you want a better word for that.
Captain Jack seems not to noe what to say to that. “Well… uh… Yulixes then. No, that doesn’t sound like it’s right. Yul… yu… hey Ninjas, what’s the plural of Yulix?”
